Allowing yourself time to navigate through grief at your own pace.
Because grief is a personal experience which is different for everyone. It’s unique, it’s raw.
Grief does come in waves. In fact you might think that you are doing ok, maybe even well and then comes along a song, an anniversary, a trigger, a reminder and then it hits you like a wave.
It’s ok. On the toughest of days we need to be kinder, more gentle on ourselves. We need to prioritise our self care.
There are ways to remember our loved ones. There are ways that we can move forward and carry that love that we have for them.
Grief is just love that has nowhere to go.
